Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Marketing and Catering Director at our bustling Chick-Fil-A restaurant location. As the Marketing and Catering Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales, building brand awareness, and fostering community engagement through innovative marketing initiatives and exceptional catering services.
Responsibilities:
- In-Store Events: Plan and execute engaging in-store events to drive foot traffic, enhance customer experience, and promote Chick-Fil-A products and promotions.
- Team Member Sales/Check Average Contests: Organize and oversee monthly contests to incentivize team members to increase sales and check averages, fostering a culture of friendly competition and excellence in customer service.
- Team Member SOS Contests: Coordinate and manage contests to encourage team members to upsell and promote add-on items (Sides, Drinks, and Desserts) with each customer order, maximizing sales and profitability.
- Weekly Food Distribution to Schools/Businesses: Manage and coordinate weekly food distribution to local schools and businesses, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional service.
- Team Member Sales Training: Develop and conduct regular sales training sessions for team members to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement skills.
- Catering Orders: Oversee the catering order process from initial inquiry to delivery, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction with every order.
- Community Board Display: Curate and maintain a visually appealing community board display in the restaurant, showcasing upcoming events, promotions, and community partnerships.
- Display of POP Materials Quarterly: Coordinate the display of Point-of-Purchase (POP) materials in the restaurant quarterly, ensuring compliance with Chick-Fil-A branding guidelines and maximizing visibility of promotions and marketing messages.
- Social Media Publisher (FB and Instagram): Manage and publish weekly posts on Facebook and Instagram to engage with customers, promote special offers, and highlight community involvement, leveraging social media as a powerful marketing tool.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in marketing, sales, or event management, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and engage with customers and community stakeholders.
