Greeter/Service Advisor
JOB PURPOSE:
- Performs general office functions including answering telephones, completing customer service applications, and billing process.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience in general office/secretarial positions is required.
- Written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to read are essential.
- Telephone skills are essential.
- Keyboarding skills and knowledge of computers are required.
- Exceptional customer service and customer relations skills are essential.
- Ability to work in a professional environment.
- Experience in creating and maintaining a filing system.
JOB RESULTS AND EXPECTATIONS:
- Answers telephone in a courteous and timely manner; answers inquiries or directs calls appropriately.
- Conducts opening duties including unlocking doors, turning on lights, turning on computers, and logging employees onto the computer.
- Suggests "full service" packages to the customer and other additional services including engine cleaning, tire rotations (if applicable), and fuel system cleaners.
- Obtains and accurately enters customer information into the computer.
- Answers customer inquiries, and explain services/products offered and work performed on the vehicle.
- Verifies all cheques received.
- Prepares and processes fleet billing reminder cards.
- Processes credit card payments using the POS system.
- Maintains operational records / files in a neat and organized fashion.
- Oversees job functions and training for office staff.
- Makes required changes as necessary, balancing change drawer on a regular basis and "close-out" drawer at the end of each day including credit card transactions (POS / manual). Conducts closing duties by placing the deposit in the safe, turning off the computer, appliances and lights and locking all doors.
- Ensures the lobby is kept neat and clean, replenishes beverages and maintains cleanliness in the restrooms.
- Maintains a neat and professional appearance at all times.
- Maintains technical competence by attending all classes and shop meetings as requested; reading service bulletins.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
