Main Responsibilities:

• Keep buildings in a clean condition and complete all shift tasks
• Perform all heavy-duty cleaning
• Be trusted to count cash and watch cash drawer at all times during shift
• Be able to work 8 hour shifts during flexible times through-out the week. Store operates 24/7
• Engage with customers and load laundry cards
• Complete occasional drop-off laundry Wash/Dry/Fold

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Cleaner/Janitor/Laundry Attendant to fill a vital spot in our staff. We are hoping to find a reliable and skilled person who understands the importance that the role plays in a the company operations.

The person we would like to give this opportunity to should have strong communication skills, be able to prioritize tasks, and poses both a proactive and reactive mindset. We like to keep our environment tidy and very well-organized, we expect from our future Cleaner/Janitor/Laundry Attendant to take complete responsibility for helping us achieve this.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning building floors (vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, sweeping)
• Gathering and emptying indoor/outdoor trash
• Clean, service and resupply restrooms
• Clean windows, mirrors and other glass surfaces
• Engaging in building security and safety activities (checking and locking doors, checking washing/drying machines)
• watching and cleaning equipment, supplies, and furniture
• Informing managers about required repair and maintenance activities
• Maintaining tools and equipment needed for Cleaner/Janitor duties and cleaning supplies
• Stocking vending machines
• Be able to work a full 8 hour shift alone in store location

Job Requirements:

• Must have proven working experience as Cleaner/Janitor/Laundry Attendant
• Must know and follow sanitation procedures
• Must be able to respond and act quickly
• Must have strong communication and multitasking skills
• Must have knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies
• Must be able to work 8 hour shifts and have a flexible schedule
• Have a cell phone to be informed of shift changes and job schedule/location uses a digital app to inform employees of shifts.
• Have reliable transportation to arrive to job site when working or on-call.
