Maintenance Manager

About the position

As a Maintenance Technician at Chick-fil-A, your primary responsibility is to ensure the restaurant operates smoothly by maintaining all equipment and facilities. This role is crucial in providing a remarkable experience for guests through effective maintenance and upkeep of the restaurant's physical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and managing Preventive Maintenance Programs/Schedules for all major equipment and store systems.
  • Performing daily detail cleaning, inspections, and regular PMs on all equipment and systems including water filtration, ventilation, lighting, plumbing, refrigeration, and security.
  • Understanding and controlling costs of facility repairs.
  • Analyzing and troubleshooting mechanical failures and electrical outages.
  • Conducting seasonal maintenance including pressure washing and snow shoveling of sidewalks.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of mechanical operations, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and on a team.
  • High level of self-organization and attention to detail.
  • Understanding the importance of creating a positive impactful customer experience.
  • Ability to maintain a positive working relationship and treat all employees with respect.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in kitchen, front counter, or prep areas.
  • 3+ years experience working on kitchen equipment
