Rate of pay$11 - 20 per hour

Summary: Responsible for collecting weight tickets, inputting orders into Point-of-Sale system, counting/dispensing paper currency, dispensing change, collecting credit payments, checking bills greater than $20 for legitimacy by performing the following duties.


Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Interacting with guests in a courteous and friendly manner
  • Responsible for up-selling souvenir cups, desserts, etc
  • Responsible for identifying utensil locations.
  • Responsible for answering phones.
  • Responsible for taking to-go orders.
  • Responsible for stocking warmers.
  • 100% accuracy on tray vision/ no missed weight tickets
  • Input tips at end of shift
  • Responsible for stocking silverware.
  • keeping register area clean and sanitized
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.


Math Ability:

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.


Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.


Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Point-of-Sale systems, gift card machine, and credit card machine.


Certificates and Licenses:

  • TABC certification
  • ServSafe - Food Handler certificate


Equipment:

  • Point-of-Sale system
  • Barcode scanner
