Front of House Manager Job Description:
We are looking for a front of house manager with remarkable skills, who will run the dining room effectively and with attention to detail.
Our front of house manager candidates are required to be in constant contact with the staff and customers. They need to be able to ensure their staff provides the highest quality customer services.
The responsibilities of a front of house manager will be to greet the staff and customers, provide them with what they need, give intelligent recommendations and suggestions, build customer and brand trust, and assist the staff with anything they need and make sure the customers have a great dining experience.
More importantly, a perfect front of house manager should be reliable, accommodating, courteous, and friendly to ensure that the customers are fully satisfied.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of front of house staff including scheduling, training, and general supervision
• Oversee that all opening and closing duties are completed correctly and that cleanliness and maintenance are maintained
• Balancing of all daily and nightly cash drawers and POS
• Providing excellent customer service to guests and excellent leadership to employees
• Enforce and monitor all health, safety, and sanitation standards in their area
• Handle guest complaints according to provided guidelines
• Work closely with the Back of House Manager to provide a seamless experience
