POSITION SUMMARY: The dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for tableware, food storage and cooking items, utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sort and rinse dishes and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dishwasher
• Sort clean dishes and transfer clean dishes to proper storage areas
• Very minimal "by hand" or 4 bay washing, dishwashing machine is primarily used.
• Clean/Organize dishwashing area at end of night
• Sweep/mop floors

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• Possess the ethics and positive attitude that support our values and culture
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
• Reliability and understanding that you are the hub of the restaurant, being present for your shift is important for the whole team!
• Strong communications skills
• Postive attitude, self- motivated
• Can work at a good pace

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Must be at least 17 years of age

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

• Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours per day
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Will frequently carry, lift, reach, bend, stoop and climb
• Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments
• Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic
• Must be able to tolerate wet environments
• Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: egg, dairy, soy, gluten
