We are looking for highly motivated, organized, professional, and customer-focused Shift Leaders who are ready to coach, train, and lead our teams in a proactive and positive way. As a Firehouse Subs Shift Leader, you will be tasked with upholding our culture of Heartfelt Service, Hearty and Flavorful Food, and Public Safety while creating and maintaining a fast-paced, dynamic, and friendly work environment for your team members. You will also be fully accountable for the profitable operation of the restaurant while adhering to all company guidelines and brand standards.

Essential Functions:

• Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations to include health regulations, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, OSHA, and any other appropriate regulations required for the legal operation of the business
• Ensure knowledge, adherence and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs polices and procedures
• Provide leadership to the restaurant team to consistently meet standards of heartfelt guest service, quality, and cleanliness, all while embracing our Firehouse Subs Culture
• Create a cheerful and fun work environment guided by our Firehouse Subs Values
• Ensure the profitability of the restaurant by operating within established guidelines and requirements for food cost, labor cost, controllable expenses, and sales growth
• Coordinate and implement operational strategies and company initiatives in a profitable and timely manner
• Coach and train team members on a continuous basis
• Promote all Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation fundraisers and initiatives
• Represent Firehouse Subs in a professional and positive manner at all times
• Communicate effectively with General Manger, District Manager and Franchisee about any and all issues that may impact the business
• Able to work on your feet for up to 13 hours at a time
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by your General Manager, District Manager, or Franchisee
