Vision
As Shift Leader you will oversee the day to day operations of the store. You are expected to oversee the Team Leads and Team Members. As a Shift Leader, you are to ensure that both FOH and BOH are operating according to the proper procedures. A successful Shift Leader must be mature, patient, professional, and have a growth mindset at all times. In addition to these qualities, you are required to possess a willingness to provide feedback to all team members. You must enthusiastically and passionately lead by example as you help to develop a strong team with a high standard of excellence.
Requirements
- Be available to work a minimum of 20 hours a week
- Have a basic understanding of BOH or FOH
- Complete all Pathway training plans
- Be available to open and/or close twice a week
Roles & Responsibilities
- Running Shifts
- Assist the Directors in tasks
- Maintain confidentiality in all information entrusted to you.
- Ensure all catering orders are prepared, cashed out. and ready to go on time
- Train Team Leaders and Team Members
- Assist in positions to ensure speed of service.
- Handle customer complaints in a kind and professional manner, always striving to turn guests into raving fans
Coach Team Leaders in:
- How to provide effective feedback to team members, both positive and correctional
- Counting drawers efficiently, and how to troubleshoot problems
- Solving problems before they affect speed of service
- Preventing problems before they arise
Help oversee both FOH and BOH to ensure Team Leaders are carrying out all procedures according to corporate and local policies
- Specific procedures to check: Kitchen is following the iPad system and/or adjusting drops of chicken to flow of business, holding times are being adhered to, FOH is following 2nd miles service requirements, stocking is being done correctly, and the cleaning list is being followed.
