Job Description:
As a bartender at Gaucho Parrilla Argentina, you are an ambassador to the brand. Having a solid understanding of the history, menus, policies, and procedures of the restaurant is paramount. With this knowledge you will be able to care for our guests with confidence!
Generally, our bartenders will maintain a bar rail within the restaurant, interact with guests to answer questions, make suggestions and follow through with their service from greeting to the payment process. Additionally bartenders will also be expected to have a basic understanding and knowledge of mixology, being able to balance both their attention to the guests at the rail and timely service of cocktails to the service bar for the floor that they are working.
If you are an industry professional, or simply a person that loves hospitality as much as we do, this could be the career for you. Minimum of 2 years experience in a craft cocktail bar environment.

Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include:
- Greeting, welcoming and introducing yourself to guests promptly
- Answering questions relating to area locations, menu items, policies and procedures
- Providing suggestions for menu and beverage selections
- Verifying ID's for the permissible sale of alcohol
- Assisting with satisfying dietary restrictions or preferences
- Communicating with the Chef for special circumstances
- Taking guests orders and placing them into the POS correctly
- Producing all beverage orders promptly for service bar and your guests at the rail
- Following up with guests to ensure satisfaction of food, beverage & service
- Maintaining accurate record of the guests check
- Presenting the check to the guest and processing the payment
- Thanking guests and offering well wishes upon departure
- Updating the Host Attendants with critical information
- Maintaining communication with shift supervisors and managers
- Assisting other employees when required or instructed
- Providing an excellent customer experience
- Maintaining a clean, organized and well stocked bar
- Performing closeout procedures for inspection before completing shifts
