Marketing Manager

PJ Cheese, Inc (dba Papa Johns Pizza) is a locally owned franchise seeking a Marketing Manager for the Birmingham area. PJ Cheese, Inc. is part of PJ United, the largest franchise for Papa Johns Pizza within the United States.  Having over 200 restaurants across the Nation, PJ United has 25 in the Birmingham area and 11 in the Huntsville area that are part of the PJ Cheese, Inc. family.

Primary responsibility includes Maintaining and Creating community partnerships which drives positive revenue streams to our local restaurants.  Professional relationships will utilize exclusive discounts and offers that benefit the community business (ie.schools, churches, recreation departments, non-profit groups, other businesses) all while increasing sales

for the local restaurants.   


Set up Fundraisers between local schools and other charity groups and the local Papa Johns Pizza restaurants.  Establish employee or customer discounts for various local businesses. Participate in Sponsoring local sports teams and community events.  Promote the Papa Johns Pizza Brand by encouraging orders!

Responsibilities include:


-   Sharing exclusive coupons and discount offers with local businesses and groups

-   Creating & Distributing marketing materials to local partners

-   Maintaining, Generating, and Identifying relationships with community entities - SALES!

-   Creating and Promoting fundraising opportunities

-   Presenting Fundraising Payments and donations to charity groups

-   Preparing & Hosting off-site fundraiser events

-   Collecting and analyzing data

-   Social media involvement

-   Utilizing computer resources to research and track prospects


Qualifications:

  • People Person – ability to confidently build relationships & conversate with new contacts
  • Self Motivated – demonstrated creativity and assertiveness
  • Computer proficient – must be well versed in Microsoft & Creative programs
  • Organized with ability to Multi-Task
  • Sales/Marketing skills a must
  • Reliable transportation and valid Drivers License required; flexibility to visit various businesses and restaurants weekly by your own vehicle
  • Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check
  • Degree in Marketing, Communication, or Public Relations preferred. High School Diploma required.


 

Position: Full Time Position ..minimum 40 hours a week (generally Mon-Fri..9am to 5pm); – some weekend and evening hours may be required. 

Salary:  Salary $32,100 - $46,500 per year with Allowances, Benefits, and Expense Reimbursement. Quarterly Bonus potential.
