Role
The Director of Sales and Brand Growth is a visionary leader responsible for advancing the Serve Give Joy LLC Enterprise through strategic sales initiatives, innovative marketing, and deep community engagement at both Chick-fil-A locations in Manteca. This role ensures exceptional brand representation by driving initiatives that strengthen community partnerships and serving as a key strategic partner in advancing the vision and purpose of Serve Give Joy LLC. They will strategically develop and implement initiatives that elevate brand awareness through various digital, social media, and in-store events, foster community connections, and achieve measurable growth in catering, Additional Distribution Points (ADP’s) mobile sales, and overall brand presence within Manteca and the surrounding community. This role is directly responsible for leading a growing team of marketing and catering professionals, cultivating a culture of care, professionalism, and excellence, while ensuring the organization consistently pursues its vision to be Manteca’s most caring company.
Key Responsibilities
Talent/Leadership
- Recruit, train, and mentor a growing team to support the Director's vision, including Specialist leadership roles in catering, community engagement, digital marketing, and sales.
- Identify high-potential team members and create pathways for their growth, ensuring a robust leadership succession plan.
- Champion strategic initiatives, such as the successful launch of new locations, by coordinating cross-functional efforts and aligning marketing and sales strategies with broader organizational goals.
- Partner with the executive team to create a long-term vision and roadmap for community engagement and brand presence across multiple locations.
- Represent Serve Give Joy LLC as a brand ambassador at community events, networking opportunities, fundraisers and local initiatives.
- Actively engage with local businesses, schools, churches, government, civic organizations, and nonprofits to cultivate lasting relationships that amplify the organization’s impact and visibility.
- Develop clear metrics and performance indicators for the team, ensuring alignment with sales, marketing, and community engagement goals.
- Act as a point of contact for all volunteer and donation opportunities, ensuring that all donation and charity engagement falls within specified guidelines.
- Create and implement a personal and professional development plan to expand your leadership influence and capacity.
- Lead by example in all actions, demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality while consistently reflecting Chick-fil-A’s values.
- Strategically contribute to as a member of the Executive Leadership Team goal setting and execution of the business’s strategy.

Financial Stewardship
- Monitor financial performance regularly, using sales data and analytics, customer insights, and operational metrics to adjust strategies, optimize costs, and improve profitability.
- Continuously track, analyze, and report on sales trends, including catering and mobile ordering growth, to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies.
- Evaluate and creatively refine marketing efforts, ensuring that they align with budget and sales targets, focusing on strategies that provide the greatest return for the investment.
- Ensure all marketing materials, social media campaigns, and event strategies are cost-effective and deliver tangible results in increased sales, brand awareness and community engagement.
- Ensure that all sales-related initiatives align with broader financial goals and strategies for both short-term profitability and long-term growth.
- Oversee and optimize marketing and catering budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and maximizing return on investment (ROI).
- Develop and maintain a system for tracking donations and measuring the impact of community contributions, ensuring alignment with store guidelines and Chick-fil-A’s philanthropic goals.
Customer Experience
- Lead efforts to engage with customers through community-based events, catering and ADP’s, loyalty programs, and social media, ensuring a personalized and memorable brand experience.
- Gather customer feedback through surveys, social media, and in-person interactions, ensuring continuous adaptation to meet evolving needs and preferences.
- Develop customer loyalty initiatives, such as targeted promotions or exclusive offers for repeat customers; drive mobile app utilization to drive retention and increase overall guest frequency.
- Respond promptly to online reviews and customer inquiries, ensuring that every customer concern is addressed swiftly, and all praise is acknowledged.
- Collaborate with the Front-of-House team to maintain high customer engagement and satisfaction through marketing initiatives and community outreach.
- Work to improve the restaurant's online ratings and reviews by addressing customer concerns and providing exceptional service.
Sales & Brand Growth
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive catering, ADP, and mobile ordering growth, achieving specific year-over-year sales targets (e.g., increasing catering sales by 50% in the first year; add 5 additional ADP’s each quarter).
- Lead the enterprise’s efforts to grow and increase mobile ordering sales by optimizing the app experience and promoting mobile ordering within the community and the restaurant.
- Leverage digital marketing tools, including Chick-fil-A’s Spotlight tool and social media platforms, to track campaign performance and adjust strategies to achieve maximum impact.
- Foster long-term relationships with clients through consistent follow-up, feedback solicitation, and delivering exceptional experiences, ensuring increased repeat business and referrals.
- Identify new revenue streams and growth opportunities, including special events, pop-up shops, and seasonal promotions, that help to broaden the restaurant's market reach and profitability.
- Develop creative, community-focused strategies that not only increase revenue but also deepen the restaurant’s impact in the local area.
- Collaborate with other members of the Executive Leadership Team and Operational Directors to execute campaigns and promotions.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan, setting concrete goals for sales and transaction growth, aligning with national and local campaigns.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase the restaurant's online presence.
- Track social media metrics and analyze performance to make data-driven decisions.
- Provide regular reports and insights to management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
- Ensure all marketing materials and activities adhere to Chick-fil-A’s Visual Identity Standard (VIS), maintaining brand consistency in messaging and visuals.
- Implement innovative strategies to introduce new audiences to Chick-fil-A catering services through weekly outreach efforts.
- Organize and host local events, such as school spirit nights and fundraisers, to build brand awareness and deepen community relationships.

Additional Qualifications
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or other similar disciplines.
- A minimum of 2 years of previous experience in marketing highly preferred.
- A positive attitude and growth mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours.
- Well-groomed and professional appearance.
- Able to work full-time (40+ hours a week) and various shifts per week (night and day)
- Have reliable transportation.
