This position is responsible for training, coaching, and managing a passionate team of sales people.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and skilled store manager who will run a store effectively and with attention to detail.

Our store manager candidates are required to be in constant contact with the staff and customers. They need to be able to ensure their staff provides the highest quality customer services and monitor the overall financial performance of the store.

The responsibilities of a store manager are to greet the staff and customers, provide them with what they need, give intelligent recommendations and suggestions, build customer and brand trust, assist the staff with anything they need and make sure the customers have a great shopping experience.

More importantly, a perfect store manager candidate should be reliable, accommodating, courteous, and friendly to ensure that the customers are fully satisfied.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and maintain accountability among team members
  • Interact with customers, perform transactions, positively represent Turning Leaf and the brands within Turning Leaf
  • Train and develop new hires and team members
  • Oversee store cash flow, ensuring appropriate use of company funds, and accurately reconciling monthly expenses
  • Coordinate team member scheduling, scheduling appropriately for budget, and accurately reporting payroll on biweekly basis
  • Identify and order approved products from approved vendors to meet demand needs
  • Complete inventory counts, deliver shrinkage reports monthly
  • Maintain cash security, ensure deposits are completed on time, without discrepancies
  • Promptly address violations to policy and procedures, perform reprimands and terminations
  • Promptly address disruptions to daily business operations
  • Engage in marketing efforts in the community
  • Maximizing profitability and productivity
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations
  • Preparing promotional displays and materials
  • Providing opportunities for staff advancements
