Old Hudson Plantation is looking for an experienced and skilled store manager for our pro shop. This individual should have strong attention to detail and enjoy helping others discover and enjoy sporting adventures. Our store manager candidates need to be able to provide the highest quality customer service and monitor the overall performance of the store. This position will require someone with a diverse skill set from customer interaction to inventory management and marketing skills to firearm knowledge including specialized registration and disposition of them. We are looking for someone that is reliable, accommodating, and courteous with great organizational skills and an outgoing personality.
Responsibilities of a Store Manager
● Managing overall operations of store
● Processing and Packaging online sales
● Preparing and Uploading items to online sales platforms
● Maintaining financial and statistical records
● Dealing with customer complaints and queries
● Overseeing stock and pricing control
● Maximizing profitability and productivity
● Managing membership enrollment
● Creating and distributing weekly member newsletter
● Scheduling of events including coordinating events with other departments
● Social media marketing
● Preparing promotional displays and materials
Store Manager Job Requirements:
● High school degree or equivalent
● Experience in retail store sales and management
● QuickBooks/POS experience a plus
● Social media marketing skills
● Proficient with Microsoft Office
● BS degree in marketing or related field is a plus
● Familiarity with visual merchandising
● Ability to stock/restock and manage inventory
● Strong communication skills
● Excellent problem-solving skills
● Good organizational skills
● Positive and friendly attitude
