Join Chick-fil-A at 156th & Maple, where you'll be a key member of the leadership team that champions our culture and ensures operational excellence. As a Director, you'll collaborate closely with the Operator to establish systems for delivering exceptional guest experiences, fostering a positive staff environment, and serving delicious food. This is an operational opportunity with 90% of your time in operations and 10% working on strategy.


Required hours of availability would be Monday-Saturday, restaurant open to close, with 40-45 hours worked per week. Keeping in step with company history, all Leaders have Sunday and an additional day off per week.



Role Responsibilities

Leadership Focus

1) Provide regular operational and leadership coaching to shift leaders and team members

2) Holds the team accountable to quality and operational standards in order to meet customer experience and profitability goals.

3) Conduct regular meeting cadence with direct reports and represent team during leadership meetings and one-ones with Operator

4) Build a high-performance team and develop them with coaching, training and accountability and leading by example

5) Drive team members to maintain an exceptionally clean restaurant

6) Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team


Operations

1) Responsible for all day-to-day operations to operate smoothly and efficiently

2) Strategically schedule front of house staff to maximize guest experience and profitability.

3) Enhancement of operational systems (Scheduling, closing/opening checklists, cash management, etc.)

4) Track and monitor all strategic initiatives and investments for improved results

5) Sharing information on Food Cost and Labor Opportunity in terms of the “GAP”

6) Focus on systematically and effectively communicating vision, business goals, and priorities to the rest of the leadership team and team members as applicable

7) Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder

8) Count drawers and finalize day

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Operational and Leadership Role

• Food service experience preferred

• Track record of business results

• Ability to work 40 hours a week with complete open availability

• Anticipated 5 to 10 overtime hours available weekly

• Flexibility with role responsibilities as the business grows
