A Shift Leader’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Shift Leaders lead by example, align with 156th & Maple's core values, and set the tone that others will follow.

Shift Leader Responsibilities:
Shift Leaders are responsible for assisting the Director team in all aspects of shift management and
ensuring that each guest has an outstanding experience. Shift Leaders are responsible for supervising
assigned areas for an entire shift.
- Running shifts effectively
- Counting drawers
- Counting change fund at everyday part
- Managing day to day tasks
- Running daily contests for lunch and dinner and provide rewards
- Properly handling CARES calls and customer complaints in the restaurant
- Managing labor effectively
- Facilitating daily cleaning tasks
- Attending and contributing at Team Leader meetings
- Establishing accountability with Team Members
- Maintaining a fun work environment
- Communicating expectations to the team, ranging from Team Members to Directors
- Maintaining vision alignment with the Operator and leadership team
- Aiding in coordinating special events for marketing
- Organizing the teamwith excellenttfollow-throughh

- Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred.

- Hair must comply with local health department requirements and be natural in color
- Facial hair is permitted if neatly trimmed and up to 1/2'' in length
