Back of House Team Member Responsibilities:

  • Arrive to work on time and follow all Chick-fil-A rules and dress codes. 
  • Prepare, cook, and assemble food efficiently, accurately and safely, following all Chick-fil-A standards.
  • Learn assignments for all kitchen stations, including breading, fries, prep, assembling, dishes, etc.
  • Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and stocked.
  • Follow food safety rules and use kitchen equipment safely.
  • Complete opening and closing tasks as assigned – and other duties as assigned.
  • Learn and stay up to date on menu items, procedures, and training.
  • Report equipment or maintenance issues to Leadership.
  • Follow Leadership direction, and be a team player!
  • Uphold company vision, mission & values.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Reliable, positive, and team-oriented.
  • Motivated to learn, grow, and serve others.
  • Customer-focused with strong people and communication skills.
  • Pays attention to detail, tells the truth, values excellence. 
  • Works with a sense of urgency.
  • Flexible availability.
  • Able to stand for long periods and lift/carry items as needed.
  • At least 16 years old.
