The Catering Coordinator effectively executes every catering order with excellence. They are also an ambassador of the Chick-fil-A culture with every interaction. The Catering Coordinator exists to attract catering sales and fulfill catering orders with accuracy and timeliness.
Reports to: Marketing Director
Key Metrics: Increase Outside Sales (Catering Sales)
Job Requirements
- Exhibits value of servant leader.
- Minimum 30 hours weekly with Friday/Saturday availability
- Available to work approximately 7-8pm with flexibility at nights to support Marketing events
- Ability to create professional relationship with outside guests
- Ability to work on a team
- Ability to handle high stress situations and lead catering operations
- Proven leadership and operational experience, preferably in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Strong coaching and development skills with a focus on accountability and team success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- A passion for guest service and creating memorable experiences for customers.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring operational effectiveness and a positive team environment.
- Prior experience in a Chick-fil-A or similar setting is a plus but not required.
Overview of Responsibilities
Effectively execute every catering order with excellence
- Coordinate with Kitchen leader once a catering order is received
- Input catering orders from Marketing Director when necessary
- Complete all set-up and preparation for each catering order: boxes, utensils, sauces, bags, etc.
- Coordinate TMS bags to be ready for kitchen to load
- Deliver catering orders when necessary
- Complete all the set-up on site for the Guest for catering deliveries
- Put all catering related items away upon return to the store
- Cash out the catering order upon delivery
- Regularly connect with new and existing catering guests. Be the “point” person for all regulars looking to connect with someone about catering
- Keep inventory of catering supplies and inform Truck Ordering of what their needs are
- Create any systems or processes to improve our catering service
- Make necessary decisions to honor our commitment to our Guests
Be a support to BOH & FOH Operations
- The Catering coordinator is expected to be an expert in both FOH and BOH procedures and food safety to help execute catering orders seamlessly.
- The Catering Coordinator is expected to serve in operations when not giving oversight to catering needs for the day. They should demonstrate to the team the importance of serving all guests well.
- If trained, the Catering Coordinator may also serve as a shift leader when needed.
Estimated Start Date for this Role: Approximately 4 weeks out from applying. This is a brand new restaurant that is currently in the construction process.

Averages 30-40 hours per week
Must have availability 2pm-11:30pm
Must be available to work Fridays & Saturdays
Pay varies per leadership position- will discuss at time of interview
