Via Roma in North Royalton is getting ready to open and looking for Experienced Bartenders! Opening in the old Carrie Cerino's location on Ridge Road, Via Roma will deliver a fine dining experience with classic and upscale Italian cuisine in a beautifully remodeled location. Boasting a full-service restaurant, nightclub, and event center, there are many opportunities for eager Team Members.  

Job description 

Our Restaurant boasts a service bar upstairs as well as our full-service nightclub downstairs. Our cocktail menu is upscale and a little retro, and all cocktails must be executed with consistency and speed. Our wine list will be over 100 bottles with great opportunities to try and taste some rare Italian and American wines. Our bartenders show a passion for good food and good drinks and that carries over into everything they do.  

Responsibilities 

• Daily cleaning duties as required by management 
• Completion of all side work, before, during, and after the shift as required by management 
• Ability to follow recipes and execute cocktails consistently with urgency 
• Taking/serving orders and answering questions or making product recommendations 
• Staying active and attentive to all guests needs at all times 

Requirements 

• Basic understanding of food, beer, and spirits and a strong knowledge of wines. 
• The ability to stand for long durations at a time 
• The ability to multi-task while maintaining a calm composure and a friendly demeanor 
• Utilizing good communication with fellow employees, management, and guests 
• Demonstrating a solid knowledge of all Via Roma and beverage items offered in the restaurant 
• Fluently and efficiently navigating the restaurant’s point of sale system 
• Coming to work on time and with a positive attitude every shift 
• Demonstrating correct financial reporting and cash handling

Compensation: Hourly plus Tips 

Hours of Operation:

Monday-Friday: 4pm-10pm

Saturday-Sunday: 10am-10pm
