Job Responsibilities:
- Acts with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Teaspoon.
- Uphold Teaspoon Mission and values to create the best customer experience possible.
- Greet customers warmly and efficiently take food and drink orders.
- Execute Deployment guidelines to prepare beverages and food as necessary to complete orders.
- Operate a POS system, receive payments from customers in cash or credit card, and provide accurate change.
- Ensure customer satisfaction with drink products and provide friendly service.
- Assist in training new partners by positively reinforcing successful performance and offering respectful coaching as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the shop and complete daily cleaning duties.
- Ability to multitask while paying special attention to detail.
- Control food costs and record any food waste.
- Manage inventory organization and adhere to the first-in, first-out rule.
- Adhere to Teaspoon's standard operating procedures (SOP) when preparing drinks, both for back-of-house (BOH) and front-of-house (FOH) operations.
- Ensure meticulous adherence to food safety protocols to maintain freshness and prevent contamination in all food and beverage preparation processes.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Essential Physical Requirements
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to:
- Operate a variety of machines, tools, and equipment as required for the job.
- Maintain visual acuity to make general observations regarding safety and accuracy of work.
- Remain in a stationary position for a minimum of 3 hours during work shifts.
- Stand, walk, stoop, and kneel as necessary to perform job duties.
- Lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds intermittently and repetitively lift objects weighing 3 pounds to shoulder height.
- Utilize hand dexterity to grasp, finger, and reach items.
- Express or exchange information verbally as needed for job-related communication.
Job Requirements:
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Adherence to store operating policies and standards, encompassing the provision of high-quality beverages and food products, cash handling, and store safety and security.
- Ability to engage with and comprehend customer needs, responding with clear and pleasant communication.
- Adherence to required dress code standards.
- Proficient in preparing food and beverages according to standard recipes or customized orders, including adjusting recipe elements like temperature and ingredient quantities.
- Capability to handle various tasks within the store during each shift.
- Friendly and outgoing personality.
- Strong team player mentality.
- Professional and ethical approach to work.
- Willingness to assist the store team as required.

Job Types: Part-time
Pay: $17.20 - $20.00 per hour (depending on experience)
