Manager Job description
Houlihan’s Restaurant + Bar is seeking a Manager to perform the following duties and has the following qualities and qualifications:
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Manage logistical aspects of front of house operations; communicates, motivates and drives performance of staff. Supervise staff, including developing weekly schedules, and coaching to Four-Diamond standards.
- Execute and oversee local store marketing efforts for the restaurant
- Proactively identify staffing needs, recruit and select quality employees
- Ensure that all training programs are being administered properly, oversees implementation, utilizing Houlihan’s corporate resources
- Ensure BOH resources, systems and tools are being used appropriately, adhere to all standards
- Ensures a sales mentality throughout the restaurant and implements new initiatives/menu items/specials, tracks and reports results and success
- Ensure excellent quality and presentation of food
- Monitor ticket times & cook’s line movement; evaluate systems for optimal execution
- Anticipate guest problems and issues; take necessary action to resolve conflicts
- Monitor labor, food, and liquor cost. Proactively find ways to reduce restaurant spend
- Demonstrate a passion for and working knowledge of food, liquor, beer and wine
- Insistent upon delivering outstanding guest experiences
- Assist in training and display hands on approach in leadership in all the areas of the facility
- Update job knowledge by participating in and directing educational and training opportunities
- Take disciplinary action in conjunction with the President/GM and HR when necessary
- Assist in other departments as necessary

Salary: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00
