The beauty manager drives the sales strategy by hiring, training, and coaching the team daily to deliver an exceptional experience to every guest.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of proven supervisory experience in a service, retail, or beauty industry environment leading a team of 5+ employees is required.
- College degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated sales experience in a commission-based setting.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and proposed solutions.
- The ability to motivate, inspire, coach and lead by example.
- Strong organizational, task management, and delegation skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite and experience with POS.
Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, and supervise employees like Guest Service Associates (our front-of-house team) and Wax Specialists in customer service, sales, and quality of service.
- Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to the team through daily coaching.
- Develop and foster an inspiring high-performance culture where people love coming to work.
- Build the business through effective scheduling and by spearheading our retention strategy to exceed our guests’ expectations.
- Proactively de-escalate any unsatisfied issues and train the team on opportunities.
- Assess business analytics and drive key performance metrics through action planning and leveraging team strengths.
- Complete administrative tasks such as payroll and inventory in a timely manner and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths.
- Maintain outstanding cleanliness and visual merchandising standards.
- Additional management duties as needed.
