ob Responsibilities:
As a Trim Carpenter at The Restoration Station, you will be responsible for:
- Disassembling and restoring existing cabinets:
- Carefully disassemble existing cabinetry for restoration purposes.
- Assess and repair any damages to ensure the restoration process meets high-quality standards.
- Fabricating new cabinetry and millwork:
- Utilize trim carpentry skills to fabricate new cabinetry and millwork pieces.
- Interpret blueprints and design specifications to create custom pieces tailored to client needs.
- Installation of cabinetry:
- Execute precise and efficient installations of new and restored cabinetry.
- Ensure proper fit, finish, and functionality according to project requirements.
- Collaboration with the team:
- Work closely with other craftsmen and team members to achieve project goals.
- Communicate effectively to ensure a smooth workflow throughout the production process.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Trim Carpenter in cabinetry and restoration work.
- Proficiency in the disassembly, restoration, fabrication, and installation of cabinetry and millwork.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
