Supply Chain Coordinator

Purpose of Position:

To provide support to GYG restaurants to deliver a best-in-class service to our guests by providing adequate coverage for Supply Chain Customer Service, Supply

Chain Database Management and Supply Chain Project execution.

 


Reporting to:

Hard line reporting into GYG USA with dotted line functional reporting to GYG Hola Central Sydney.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


Supply Chain Service to Restaurants

  • Solving daily issues: proactive communication with Restaurants and Suppliers to address Supply and/or Quality issues as required in order to maximize inbound Customer Service.
  • Coordination of Inventory including Stock On Hand (SOH) and proactive managements of Out Of Stocks (OOS).
  • Reviews and makes recommendations to improve Supply Chains processes including technologies, business process, reporting and decision-making tools.
  • Troubleshooting as required for implementation of short term fixes and longer term corrective and preventive actions.


Project Execution  

  • Attend Operations meetings and execute activities coming from meetings
  • Coordinate Supply Chain activities for NRO / Closures / Refurbishment
  • Onboarding of new Suppliers, inventory controls including stock builds and oversight for run out of old stock. Facilitate transitions to new products/new Suppliers.


Reporting

  • Support Restaurants through monitoring and improving supplier Supply Chain KPIs.
  • Prepare Monthly Supply Chain reports.       
  • In conjunction with Hola Central (Aus) and GYG USA, support Quarterly Business Review process with Key Suppliers as required.

       

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree qualification in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related quantitative field
  • APICS or related professional certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) desirable
  • Experience in a customer service or customer centric fields
  • Experience in S&OP processes


General Skills and Abilities:

  • High level of attention to detail and sound time management/organizational skills
  • Ability to operate independently
  • Solid analytical skills and competency, with the ability to provide insights in data analysis
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
