Role of the Expo/Food Runner:
Knowledge of the menu items and preparation
Reviewing dish to be sure it is prepared to spec according to standardized recipes
Quality check of all dishes prior to being served to guests
Assisting other team members as needed
Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen/expo area
Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older
Strong attention to detail and a passion for hospitality
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Previous experience in a similar role preferred
Must be able to lift between 10 pounds and 55 pounds
Responsibilities:
Expediting and garnishing plates as they come up from the kitchen
Knowledge of menu items and preparation
Delivering food to the correct table and seat with precision
Ensuring the quality and presentation of dishes meets our standards
Assisting other team members as needed
Keeping a clean and organized station at all times during shift
