Kobé, Florida's Premier Japanese Steakhouse, is seeking a motivated Sushi Chef to join our family-run business. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing delicious sushi items, maintaining a clean workstation, and ensuring guest satisfaction through your dynamic and courteous service.

*** Listed Salary Info is our current average hourly pay rate, which includes Kobe base pay for Sushi Chef ($17-$23 per hour) plus average shared Service Charge/Tip per hour.

Position Summary:

• Routine cleaning, setup, and breakdown of sushi bars
• Preparation of sushi items according to recipes and quality standards
• Interacting with guests in a professional and friendly manner
• Maintaining a clean and organized workstation

Essential Functions:

• Availability on Weekends and Holidays preferred
• Strong knife skills and excellent communication
• Ability to multi-task and lift up to 50 pounds

Education/Qualifications:

• Experience in the restaurant industry is a plus
• Culinary degree a plus
• Must be at least 18 years of age
