As a Cook, you will be responsible for:
• Using the correct tools to prepare, cook and present our products
• Serving food that meets our quality and safety standards
• Maintain a clean, neat and well-stocked area to ensure food quality
• Delivering quality products within company standards for speed and accuracy
• Unloading, stocking and maintaining required inventory levels, maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Knowing the restaurant and shift goals, and working to achieve them every day
• Following food and safety procedures, and reporting any issues to the Manager on Duty and/or Restaurant General Manager
Requirements:
The good news is that your training will teach you everything you need to know to succeed on the job. But there are a few skills you should have from the get-go. You’re a fun and friendly person who values customers and takes absolute pride in everything you do. You like talking – a lot – even to strangers (despite what your Mom told you). You’ve got attitude - the right kind of course - and understand the need to be on time, all the time. With loads of energy, you understand that work is easier – and more fun – working as a team. Qualifications:
• Good personal grooming
• Good communication skills
• Arrive at work on time
• Flexible scheduling
• Follows procedures regarding operation of restaurant equipment (including fryers, ovens,etc.) • Able to lift up to 25 lbs and carry up to 30 feet
• Able to push/pull up to 90 lbs up to 30 feet
• Able to stand and walk for a majority of work shift
• Knowledge of and compliance with restaurant's Human Resources policies and processes
