The Maintenance Technician is responsible for restaurant maintenance in a designated area or region. This includes the physical structure of the building, parking lot, plumbing, electrical, machinery, HVAC and refrigeration.
Essential Functions
• Receive and execute work orders and verbal directives from supervisor in an organized and
timely manner.
• Communicate with team members and restaurant staff effectively.
• Maintain high safety standards on all assigned projects.
• Performs preventative maintenance and address repairs in stores that may not have been
reported.
• Move, replace and/or install equipment.
• Work with outside vendors and contractors as required.
Position Requirements
• Able to read and write.
• Able to work varying hours including weekends and Holidays.
• Able to work overtime if necessary.
• Able to stand for prolonged periods.
• Able to manually move, lift, carry, pull or push heavy objects or materials (over 50lbs).
• Able to climb and utilize a ladder safely.
• Must have the following experience and/or certification:
o HVAC and Refrigeration preferred
o Electrical
o Plumbing
o Commercial Kitchen Equipment
o Internal and External Flooring/Resurfacing
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Education and/or Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One-year certificate from college or technical school OR 6-9 months related experience.
