Our growing company is currently seeking a Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative for our Mechanical Contracting division. This is a high volume, detail-oriented position, working with numerous departments and other entities throughout the workday.
The goal of this position is to improve and maintain the operations flow between our customers, technicians, and management. Individuals applying need to be confident at troubleshooting, organizing, multitasking, and investigating to target excellent service standards that we require as a team.
This position will entail the following responsibilities:
- Answer and respond to High volume phone calls, emails, and dispatch queue.
- Create tickets with detailed documentation.
- Dispatch and Prioritize tickets accordingly to service technicians.
- Manage a variety of spreadsheets, instructions, GPS systems and customer portals simultaneously.
- Alert management when necessary for high visibility and critical issues, making sure to document resolutions, follow up with customers, maintain ongoing communication with technicians and management throughout the shift.
- Close out jobs and activate billing.
- Manage backlogs and reassign into daily workflow.
- Able to work alone or within a small group and remain productive with minimal supervision.
- Work effectively in a fast paced and dynamic environment, multi-task.
- Remain calm and courteous when working with both internal/external employees and customers.
- Demonstrate close attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment with a positive attitude.
- Proficient in managing Outlook, Excel, Google docs.
Qualifications:
- You possess excellent communication skills, both oral communication, and written communication.
- A team player is a must. You must demonstrate the ability to interact cooperatively with co-workers, supervisors, technicians, and clients.
- Prioritizing multiple tasks and staying organized is a must.
- High school diploma and/or state-recognized GED required.
- Must be comfortable and confident to work in a fast paced, deadline driven, stressful environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Docs is a must.
