A Burger Bach Managing Director is responsible for : executing the operating expectations and standards that reinforce the brand to staff members, community and others; executing a culture of excellence and relentless improvement in his/her “Bach”; selecting and developing a strong bench of high quality talent inside the restaurant; sharing their passion for Burger Bach with hourly and management team members at every turn; and representing the Burger Bach brand to the community. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Consistently communicate the vision for Burger Bach to his/her team
- Provide clear direction to the management team and hourlies
- Conduct directional meetings with management teams as needed to ensure 100% consistency in the direction of Burger Bach
- Execute our policies, objectives and activites to ensure flawless operations
- Review financial statements, sales reports to measure performance and goal achievement / improvement opportunities
- Monitor Budgets, payroll records and review financial transactions to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgeted
- Reconcile monthly P&L’s
- Consistently communicate fiscal goals, expectations and achievements with management team
- Ensure invoice and Accounting procedures are being followed accurately and completely
- Analyze operations to evaluate the performance of his/her “Bach” – meeting objectives, identifying areas of cost reduction and sales growth
- Identify and develop talent in the restaurant
- Conduct orientations with all new hires to ensure they understand the culture, policies and expectations
- Ensure all members of staff are fully trained
- Conduct one on one’s to all team members to manage performance effectively and develop them to their full potential
- Ensure your “Bach” is appropriately fully staffed at all times
- Ensure all marketing strategies are implemented fully and consistently
- Monitor operations to ensure compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving as well as building maintenance
- Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes and presentation of food to ensure that food is prepared and presented according to standard.
- Maintain food and equipment inventories, and keep up with records
- Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality or service
- Have fun and create a conducive atmosphere
