We start everyone out on garde-manger as part of that station's team, and over time, the cooks work their way through the stations in the kitchen. We promote from within: our Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chefs started here as line cooks.

Requirements (experience required) and Essential Functions:
The successful candidate will be diligent, driven, punctual, and relentless in the kitchen.
1-3 years in similar comparable position preferred.
Proficient knife skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks for a la carte service
Disciplined use of culinary techniques
Strong foundation of classical cookery
Ability to work on feet for minimum of 10 hour shift
Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently
Ability to lift 25 pounds overhead onto high shelves
Proficient knowledge of product storage, rotation and usage
Proficient awareness of kitchen cleanliness
Ability to lead by example
