The Floor Supervisor is responsible for maintaining Guest Service as per company standard, for the efficient expedition of all Guest transactions, and for ensuring Guest satisfaction in all areas of the facility and proper control of all cash and media materials.

Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to process information/product/services through computer system and POS register system
- Ability to communicate with associates and guests
- Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation
- Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area
- Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store generally weighing 0-50 pounds
- Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store
- Ability to climb ladders

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is standing the entire shift. The employee frequently reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, shakes, stirs, pours, carries, and pushes. The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls in repetitive motions. The employee is frequently required to walk; sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee occasionally lifts and carries tubs and cases weighing up to 75 pounds. The employee must frequently communicate with expediters and servers and read orders on tickets. The employee is occasionally exposed to hazards including, but not limited to cuts from knives, slipping, tripping, falls and burns; frequent exposure to smoke, steam, high temperatures, humidity, extreme cold; frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, sanitation solutions, meat products, poultry products, seafood and produce items and frequent washing of hands.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that each Guest receives outstanding Guest Service by providing a Guest friendly environment
- Greeting and acknowledging every Guest, maintaining outstanding standards, and having solid product knowledge and all other components of Guest Service
- Overseeing and authorizing Guest returns, exchanges, product, and service credits, check authorizations, charge sends, rain checks and discretion discounts (e.g., competitive, employee sales, etc.)
- Assures the completion of all POS transactions and the proper control of all cash and media at the POS registers according to Company policies and procedures
- Assisting in training of new team members and cross training of other associates
- Assisting in the preparation of daily deposits, change and media
- Ensuring compliance with Company policies, procedures, and practices
- Supporting company loss prevention efforts
- Overseeing the productivity, breaks and daily scheduling of all team members, communicating performance issues to management
- Providing orderly maintenance of front-end supplies
- Assisting in providing housekeeping, display maintenance and replenishing merchandise as needed and any other duties as assigned by management
