Structure: Reports directly to the Owner/ Operator
Role Description: The Director of Operations oversees the execution of operational strategies and is responsible for a particular area of focus in alignment with the vision of Evans & Co LLC. This position works closely with the Operator and other Directors to ensure our vision and core values are the foundation on which we grow the business. This position coaches Area Leads and Team Members by following Pathway procedures and paying special attention to food safety. The Director of Operations has a well-rounded knowledge of the business in his/her/they area of influence and proactively seeks continued personal and professional growth.
As a leader in the restaurant, you will be responsible for leadership of front counter, catering, and/or food production/inventory operations. Identifies, motivates, trains, develops and directs team members to deliver exceptional service and accomplish goals and projects. This position oversees the administrative and operational tasks, including implementation of programs, financial management and analysis, sanitation and safety as well as sets the standards for FOH/BOH operating systems and QA standards, hospitality, mentoring and development. This position reports directly with the Owner/ Operator and will leverage their strong communication, hospitality and operational skills. They will be tasked with ensuring we are meeting the requirements necessary to create remarkable experiences.

Director of Operations responsibilities include:
Food Safety
Ensure findings from SAFE Daily Critical, Health Inspections, SAFE Evaluations by a third party, and Quality Improvement visits are addressed in a timely manner. This is to help maintain a “Good/Elite” status at all times within the Food Safety Report.
Overall Satisfaction: Achieve annual goal measured quarterly
Organizational Alignment
Connect monthly 1:1 with the Operator as a trusted advisor and consultant
Connect with Area Leaders in your area of focus or previously assigned 1:1 once per month
Connect regularly with operational leadership through twice a month staff meeting
Facilities and Equipment
Ensure facilities and equipment are in good repair.
Oversee cleanliness and organization of restaurant and equipment throughout all dayparts.
Financial Performance -
Steward all resources to maintain profitability while meeting the expectations of hospitality, team member environment, and cleanliness.
Leadership Development
Serve as a mentor and coach to train leaders within the restaurant to develop operational excellence and success.
Innovation and Waste Management
Champion and teach lean systems and processes to drive productivity and restaurant efficiency
