Fischer Auction - Immediate Warehouse Employee Needed
Fischer Auction & Appraisal is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Employee to join our team. This role requires a reliable individual with their own vehicle for occasional travel to offsite auction locations. They are responsible for various tasks related to the handling, cataloging, and preparation of auction items. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Professional communication, teamwork, and the ability to operate warehouse equipment are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Occasionally performing offsite work at other locations as required.
- Sorting, unloading, and organizing incoming auction items.
- Cataloging items accurately and creating detailed descriptions.
- Photographing items for online catalog and marketing materials.
- Palletizing items for storage and transport.
- Assisting customers during preview days or walk-ins by answering questions and providing information about auctions and auction items.
- Receiving items from consignors, creating consignor sheets, and tagging items appropriately with consignor number.
- Managing checkout process by gathering items for winning bidders and creating orders. Ensuring that all products are properly identified.
- Properly clocking in and out using the Clock Shark app with location tracking.
- Maintain work area to keep a clean and safe environment.
- Maintains professional, respectful, and open communication with others.
- Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment as needed. (Forklift experience is preferred but not required.)
- Work as an active team member to complete tasks and goals.
Requirements:
- Your own vehicle for occasional travel to offsite auction locations
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation.
- Forklift Certification and Experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, with the option to collaborate with a second person for lifting tasks, and operate pallet jacks.
- Basic Computer Skills
- Solid work history demonstrating reliability; prior warehouse experience is a plus.
- Able to work independently, if necessary.

- Proficiency in inventory control and documentation.
- Accurate data entry skills.
- Dependability and commitment to completing tasks efficiently.
Note: This is a physically demanding position that requires continuous movement and adherence to safety protocols. Candidates must be able to focus on job duties during work hours and follow break and lunch schedules. All employees are required to take a minimum 30-minute lunch break during the workday, in accordance with company policies unless the shift is under 6 hours.

Compensation & Schedule:
