Russ’ Commissary is seeking a self-motivated individual to work in our warehouse, coolers, and freezers. 

We are a USDA facility providing wholesome, made-from-scratch, safe, good food to Russ’ Restaurants and other local companies throughout West Michigan. This position starts at 5:00 AM.

Responsibilities:

• Pick orders with accuracy for restaurants and retail customers

• Prepare and load trucks for deliveries

• Receive and ship items following internal protocol

• Ensure proper rotation of stock using the FIFO method

• Document information required for shipping & receiving 

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment

• Occasional deliveries may be required (Good driving record required)

• Be able to effectively communicate in English

• Other duties as assigned

Skills:

• Forklift operator (1-year preferred experience and certification)

• Chauffeur's License

Physical Qualifications :

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. frequently throughout the day

• Ability to walk, stand, and constantly be moving on your feet for the duration of each workday

• Ability to work in a cold environment, as necessary

Wage is commensurate with experience, skills, and certifications.
