Training & Development Manager - Culver's

** We are looking for an experienced multi-unit training and development manager that would work between the three restaurants in Avondale, Goodyear, and Verrado (Buckeye). **

Minimum Experience Requirements:

• A minimum of 10+ years in the restaurant industry, specifically in training as a NSO coordinator, Training Facilitator, Regional Training Assistant or similar role.
• A minimum of 5+ current and consecutive years of experience demonstrating leadership in a multi-unit training capacity in a QSR, fast casual or Casual dining environment.
• Excellent operations and/or culinary background and knowledge.

As the Training & Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in training, coaching, and supporting managers and crew members to drive excellence in our day-to-day operations.

Priority #1: Support and Help Develop Strong Management Teams

• Help the general managers to train assistant managers, shift managers, and kitchen managers to follow Culver's high standards.
• Conduct semi-annual performance reviews with all restaurant general managers and assist them in conducting reviews for their assistant, kitchen, and shift managers.
• Provide regular feedback to all restaurant management teams and actively participate in team meetings.
• Set team goals and provide daily follow-up with all management teams.
• Hold weekly meetings with each general manager to discuss restaurant teams and areas of growth/weaknesses.
• Create ideal labor matrix for each store for scheduling purposes.

Priority #2: Ensure Consistent Customer Service That Exceeds Culver’s Standards

• Work with general managers to ensure each restaurant upholds Culver’s Mission Statement: "We genuinely care, so every guest who chooses Culver's leaves happy."
• Review SMG scores and customer complaints daily and create systems to ensure SMG goals are met.
• Follow up with restaurant teams on scores and complaints to re-train in areas of needed improvement.
• Lead product and promotional rollouts with general managers and coach teams on food quality and safety.
• Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude with all customers and help our teams do the same.

Priority #3: Coach, Coach, Coach!

• Oversee Landon Management Star Program for our future leaders.
• Teach cashier classes for new employees.
• Oversee Drive Thru and Drive Thru tablet trainings and certifications.
• Create training schedules for new hires.
• Teach ServSafe and track food handler card certifications. Must have or the ability to obtain a proctor certificate.

Priority #4: Help Us Stay Organized

• Track reviews for all management and crew members (90 day reviews, annual reviews).
• Help general managers write reviews and submit raises for crew members.
• Create/update frontline and backline training booklets and all other training materials.

Additional Experience Requirements:

• Hands-on management style, willing to work side by side with team members.
• High level of professionalism and integrity with a sincere passion for hospitality.
• Ability to master and develop systems.
• Must be a self-starter with a passion for delivering excellence in food quality and service.
• Proficient in MS, Adobe and the ability to learn company specific software.
