Midas is HIRING NOW for a friendly, energetic Assistant Manager to advise customers on service options and costs when their vehicle needs repair and assist our Service Manager in running our High-Volume Shop.
Ideal candidates will be ready to hit the ground running, but we will train motivated candidates with auto mechanic or service advisor experience! Successful Assistant Managers are ambitious problem-solvers and skilled multi-taskers who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities - ASSIST Manager and LEARN HOW TO:
- Efficiently run a High-Volume Service Department while controlling costs, obtaining sales and profit objectives, maintaining good employee relationships, and building a loyal clientele.
- Generate revenue, communicate with customers, explain vehicle maintenance, and repair services, develop estimates and quotes, and focus on customer satisfaction.
- Keep customers informed about completion times, costs, and any possible changes.
- Address complaints and resolve problems
- Create work schedules and maintain proper accounting of Service Advisor production
- Oversee Service Advisor employee training and development
- Maintain customer service records, assist with paperwork
- Ensure a safe working environment
- Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and repaired
- Adhere to company policies, OSHA regulations, etc.
- Keep shop area neat, clean, and account for all dealership-owned tools
Qualifications - Assistant Manager:
- Previous Service Advisor, Service Manager, or Assistant Service Manager experience is preferred
- Previous work history as a Warranty / Insurance Adjuster or a Service Technician / Mechanic translates well in this position
- Service or Parts Department experience in any industry are welcome!
- General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations is preferred Good managerial, customer service, and communication skills
- Works well in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude
- Good work ethic and computer skills
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
