About this role
This person will play a key role in driving facility success and growth. Our Utah location is our company headquarters, so this General Manager will be over our corporate facility. We currently have ~60 employees and are looking to grow in the next few years, so this person will be in a critical role. Working closely with department managers, they will ensure that operational, financial, and strategic objectives are achieved while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The General Manager will focus on strengthening operational efficiency, enhancing quality standards, and building productive relationships with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate teams to achieve or exceed facility goals related to quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Oversee and manage facility P&L, ensuring financial objectives align with company goals and drive profitability.
- Develop and maintain strong, strategic relationships with customers and suppliers to support business growth and continuity.
- Coordinate production schedules and oversee operations to ensure timely delivery and high product quality.
- Implement and sustain change initiatives to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Other duties related to management and facility oversight.
Experience & skills
Required:
- Demonstrated success in leadership roles with the ability to inspire and move the needle on performance.
- Proven track record of effective execution of strategic plans and achieving measurable outcomes.
- Experience in change management, with a history of leading teams through significant transitions or improvements.
Preferred:
- Experience within the manufacturing or engineering sectors.
- Strong experience managing a P&L with a proven ability to meet or exceed financial targets.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree in business or engineering.
