About the role
This person will work closely with our maintenance supervisor to maintain facility upkeep and repair equipment. We are looking for someone with extensive maintenance experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in manufacturing equipment
- Lead complex repairs and overhauls on a variety of machinery, including CNC machines, furnaces, and robotic systems
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repair work in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians on maintenance best practices and safety protocols
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, equipment upgrades, and efficiency enhancements
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years in industrial maintenance, ideally in a manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and perform high-level repairs on industrial equipment
- Proficiency with CMMS and standard diagnostic tools
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to OSHA standards
Preferred:
- Certification in Maintenance, HVAC, Electrical, or a related field
- Experience in manufacturing or foundry environments, with knowledge of investment casting processes
- Familiarity with automation systems, PLCs, and robotics maintenance
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage maintenance schedules and projects
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations
