Senior Maintenance Technician

About the role

This person will work closely with our maintenance supervisor to maintain facility upkeep and repair equipment. We are looking for someone with extensive maintenance experience.


Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in manufacturing equipment
  • Lead complex repairs and overhauls on a variety of machinery, including CNC machines, furnaces, and robotic systems
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repair work in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians on maintenance best practices and safety protocols
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, equipment upgrades, and efficiency enhancements

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years in industrial maintenance, ideally in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and perform high-level repairs on industrial equipment
  • Proficiency with CMMS and standard diagnostic tools
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to OSHA standards

Preferred:

  • Certification in Maintenance, HVAC, Electrical, or a related field
  • Experience in manufacturing or foundry environments, with knowledge of investment casting processes
  • Familiarity with automation systems, PLCs, and robotics maintenance
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage maintenance schedules and projects
  • Ability to work independently and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations
