Urban Grub, a renowned destination for elevated Southern cuisine, is looking for a Floor Manager to lead our front-of-house team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. We’re seeking a hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, a passion for service, and the ability to manage a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Building: Supervise and motivate front-of-house staff, ensuring they provide attentive, friendly service while maintaining Urban Grub’s high standards.
  • Guest Experience: Proactively engage with guests, addressing their needs and concerns to ensure a memorable dining experience.
  • Daily Operations: Oversee daily floor operations, including opening/closing procedures, staff schedules, and table assignments to ensure efficient service flow.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain communication and ensure smooth operations between the front and back of house.
  • Problem Solving: Handle guest feedback, staff issues, and unexpected situations calmly and effectively.
  • Training & Development: Train new hires and continually mentor staff on best practices, service excellence, and Urban Grub's culture of hospitality.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in hospitality, preferably in upscale dining.
  • Leadership Skills: A proven track record of leading teams and fostering a positive, collaborative environment.
  • Customer Focus: Strong passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills to manage both guest relations and staff coordination.
  • Problem Solver: The ability to think on your feet, handle stressful situations, and make quick decisions.
  • Availability: Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
