Dining Room Host/Hostess

Rate of payUp to $14 per hour


Must be available Monday-Saturday between 9am-6pm or 6pm-10pm


As a Dining Room Host/Hostess at Chick-fil-A, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. You’ll create a warm, welcoming atmosphere in the dining area, assist guests with seating, and ensure the dining room is clean, organized, and inviting. Your role will help deliver Genuine Hospitality through meaningful interactions and excellent service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and Seat Guests: Welcome every guest with a smile, assist with seating arrangements, and ensure a smooth and pleasant transition into the dining area.
  • Maintain a Clean and Welcoming Dining Area: Ensure tables, chairs, and the dining room are clean and organized, maintaining a comfortable environment for guests.
  • Support the CORE 4 Values: Smile, make eye contact, speak with a friendly tone, and always end your conversations with “My Pleasure.”
  • Assist with Guest Needs: Address guest inquiries, offer refreshes on beverages or assistance, and ensure that guests have everything they need for a great dining experience.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work with fellow team members to ensure smooth service in the dining area and provide assistance where needed.
  • Demonstrate Hard Work & Hustle: Stay focused and efficient, especially during busy times, to ensure the dining area is organized and guests feel well cared for.
  • Exhibit Positivity & Enthusiasm: Bring a positive, upbeat attitude to your shift, creating a welcoming environment for both guests and the team.
  • Take Ownership: Take responsibility for maintaining a clean and welcoming dining room, ensuring every guest feels valued and appreciated.

  • No prior experience required – training provided!
