WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE?:


RESPONSIBILITIES


As our Catering & Sales Event Coordinator, you'll be the glue between all things catering sales and operations.


1) Fully Prepared Day-Of Event Teams

You'll take care of the nitty gritty details, like ordering supplies, arranging rentals, and preparing pack lists - all to make sure the Event Team is ready to do their thang.


2) Fully Supported Sales Team

You'll assist the Sales Team in building high-touch, human-first relationships with our clients.


3) Bridge-The-Gap Communication

Communication is king, and between the Sales & Event teams, you're the glue, boo boo! You'll work with the Sales Team to button up the final event deets, then you'll make sure our Event Teams - the boots-on-the-ground - make it happen!



PAY


The base hourly range for this position $18 - $20 / hr. Base pay is based on relevant experience.



WORK SCHEDULE


This position is part-time and hourly, with a semi-set schedule that allows for flexibility. Days off are flexible. Our Catering & Sales Event Coordinator will work 3-4 days, and typically 15-20 hours per week.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Here are some of our must-haves & would-like-to-haves:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must have Saturday & Sunday availability
  • Experience working in the Catering & Events industry, strongly preferred
  • Must have a valid driver's license & sole access to a personal vehicle
  • The ability to quickly learn & navigate digital tools & platforms
  • Familiarity with Total Party Planner (our event management software) & (our CRM software), a major plus

Wooden Paddle is hybrid restaurant and catering company. Our core focus is communal, wood-fired comfort food and artsy cocktails. We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we take our food, drinks, and hospitality extremely seriously.
