WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE?:
Responsibilities
As our Sous Chef, you'll lead the daily operations of the restaurant, and own your shift! These are the primary results our Sous Chef will be hired to accomplish:
- Smoothly Run Shifts - You'll keep the kitchen running like a well-buttered machine.
- Consistently *Peak* Food Quality - You'll make sure that every plate that leaves the kitchen is *chef's kiss*.
- Skilled Back-of-House Team - You'll train and grow your team every day.
- Clean & Organized Kitchen - You'll make sure the kitchen is fresh. And so clean clean.
- 'Goldilocks' Food Inventory & Supplies - You'll make sure we stock the shelves with just what we need - nothing more, nothing less.
Pay
We pay industry-leading base wages + tips. With tips, our Sous Chefs average anywhere from $24 - $30 / hour. Base pay is based on relevant experience. Tips are guaranteed every shift, and are based on shifts worked, and how busy those shifts are - the busier, the better!
Work Schedule
This position is full-time, with AM, Midday, + PM shifts available. Days off are scheduled back-to-back.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Here are some of our must-haves + would-like-to-haves:
- At least 1 year of full-service restaurant management experience, in a Sous Chef, or similar, role
- At least 3 years of full-service restaurant experience, in a line cook role
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have open availability
- Must have the ability to regularly work 30+ hours per week
- Must have a valid driver's license + sole access to a personal vehicle
