Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and assistance to residents, including feeding, bathing, and toileting.
- Support medical staff in procedures and patient care activities.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure and temperature.
- Safely transfer residents between rooms, beds, and wheelchairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment.
- Prepare medical equipment for inspection and sterilization.
- Offer basic first aid services and wound care.
Qualifications:
- Active CNA certification.
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with staff and vendors.
- Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to company policies, including compliance and code of conduct.
- Prior experience as a CNA is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to see, hear, and move as needed throughout the workday.
- Frequent bending, squatting, twisting, and reaching.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds independently and up to 100+ pounds with assistance.
- Able to handle the physical and emotional demands of working with residents who may be ill, disabled, or have memory impairments.
Work Environment:
- Indoor work environment with standard noise levels.
- Possible exposure to fumes, odors, chemicals, and bloodborne pathogens.
