Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and track the total care of each patient, adhering to protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of patient history, including diagnostic tests, medications, vital signs, daily weights, and fluid intake/output.
• Monitor and evaluate patients’ responses to treatment plans, adjusting care as necessary.
• Prepare and maintain charts, reports, and logs to document treatment outcomes.
• Observe and communicate patient symptoms and conditions to physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans.
• Perform routine procedures (e.g., blood pressure checks, injections) and update patient charts.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Inspect the facility to ensure hygiene and safety standards are met.
• Provide immediate medical care during emergencies.
• Create a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families.
• Expand professional knowledge through workshops, conferences, and training sessions.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Valid RN nursing license
• Strong knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
• Ability to maintain professional relationships with colleagues and vendors
• Adherence to confidentiality, compliance, and harassment prevention policies
• Completion of mandatory compliance training and Code of Conduct requirements

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

• Ability to move throughout the workday, including frequent bending, squatting, twisting, and reaching
• Ability to stand, walk for extended periods, and lift/carry up to 25 pounds
• Infrequent lifting of up to 100+ pounds with assistance
• Frequent pushing, pulling, and transporting of residents
• Ability to cope with mental and emotional demands of the position
• Work indoors with some exposure to noise, odors, chemicals, and bloodborne pathogens
