Position responsibilities for Guest Service Team Members/Cashiers:
- Ready to learn ... no experience required, full training provided
- Excels in the areas of Service, Teamwork, Attitude and Responsibility
- Sells food and beverages to guests in the restaurant
- Presents menu items, answers questions, makes suggestions regarding food and beverages
- Inputs orders in the POS system
- Repeats guests’ orders to ensure accuracy
- Accepts payment and gives change always double counting
- Relays special requests to the production staff to ensure accuracy
- Observes guests, anticipates needs and responds to additional requests
- Assembles orders in the expeditor area with speed and accuracy
- Keeps the service areas clean and tidy
Job requirements:
- Smile, be polite and be genuine
- Be coachable and a team player
- Able to operate a POS system and handle money
- Walks and stands during the entire shift • Reading and writing skills required
- Interacts verbally with guests and Team Members
- Good math skills
- Hazards may include, but are not limited to, cuts, burns, slipping and tripping
