Duties and Responsibilities:

• Able to read and understand the scope of work
• Ability to use resources and manage the project in order to complete the scope
• Prepare the budget based on the scope of work 
• Able to monitor and control project budgets
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to internal and external parties
• Determine all the resources needed (equipment, vendors, materials) with attention to budget constraints
• Show initiative, understand, educate and stay informed on the best practices of the industry and instruct crew members of these practices
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
• Supervise the crew members and provide guidance as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 year experience in project management
• Ability to solve problems
• Strong knowledge and experience of construction
• Strong familiarity with project management, computer skills and carpenter tools
• Strong social and communication skills
• Proven ability to complete projects according to scope, budget and timeline
• Strong leadership skills, team management skills and self-management skills
