Training Director

Rate of pay$19 - 22 per hour

The Training Director is on the Leadership Team at the restaurant. They are versed in the correct “Chick-fil-A Way” and develop team members accordingly. The leader knows most aspects of operations in the FOH and BOH and the core roles. They execute the Training Plan for the current year.


Reports to: Executive Director


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Utilize and continually improve the training process
  • Creates and maintains relevant training checklists/tools
  • Communicate weekly with the Executive Director and Talent Director in strategically assigning shifts for New Team Members’ (NTM) until they are completely trained. 
  • Ensure NTM’s are grounded in the Chick-fil-A culture: the Core Purpose, the Raving Fans Strategy, the Core Values, the “Core Four”, restaurant vision.
  • Appropriately pace each NTM through the FOH core roles/ BOH core roles until they are capable in each area.
  • Be the point of contact for each NTM for any questions/concerns they have
  • Ensure the NTM receives a performance review upon completion of their training
  • Oversees Trainers and “trains the Trainer” to uphold training standards
  • Performs Training Audits to ensure Pathways Standards are being upheld


Management Tasks

  • Leading BOH/FOH shifts
  • Change fund ordering and dispatching
  • Counting Drawers
  • Running Breaks
  • Cleanliness of the restaurant and drive thru
  • Assists in the completion of SAFE Daily Criticals and eRQA
  • All other tasks as assigned

  • Knowledge of and adherence to the policies set forth in the Chick-fil-A Team Member Policy
  • Anticipates the needs of our guests and Team Members, and meets them proactively
  • Sees the big picture of our restaurant, and is not tied down to specific role; thinks outside the box
  • Utilizes available checklists and workflow to accomplish daily tasks

Pay: Based on experience and availability. $19 - $22.00 per hour
