Dining Room Host

A Dining Room Host or Hostess serves guests in the dining areas of the restaurant. Their primary goal is to provide 2nd Mile Service, which includes clearing tables , refreshing beverages, attending to the needs of guests, and keeping the facilities in top-notch condition. They are leaders in service.

Operational

  • Familiarize yourself with Chick-fil-A Standards, then put them into action.
  • Practice 2nd Mile Service Requirements and implement strategies for better serving guests.
  • Learn where all cleaning supplies are kept in the Dining Room. Learn how they are each used. Recognize appropriate and inappropriate ways to use chemical cleaners.
  • Grow familiar with the FIFO stocking method and apply it to all stocking in the Dining Room.
  • Hold yourself accountable for the cleanliness of the Dining Room, including tables and chairs, restrooms, condiment counters, windows, and the play area.
  • Adopt a mindset of success. Always keep a positive attitude.
